This do-it-yourself glow sticks jars are an inexpensive, but yet a very charming decoration for any outdoor movie event. Line walkways with them or place them on tables at center pieces.
You will need:
- – A jar
- – Glow Sticks
- – Scissors
- – Rubber gloves
- Safety glasses
Disclaimer: This is a project meant to be done by an adult.
1. Cut the ends of the glow sticks off and place liquid contents into the jar. When handling the glow sticks, wear safety glasses and gloves. Be careful, the contents of the glow stick contains glass. Discard any glass that may have fallen in your jar in the garbage.
2. Mix or swirl the contents around inside the jar.
3. Place jar in a dark area and enjoy. Your jar may glow anywhere from an hour to six hours depending on the glow stick.
Tip: Do not add water. It will dilute the glow mixture.
